Fedora is an open-source Linux based operating system. It has a huge worldwide
community that is supported and directed by Red Hat. It is very powerful as
compared to other Linux based operating systems. It is a full-featured
operating system and freely available for everyone. It was introduced in
September 2003 and in earlier days it was known as Fedora Core. Fedora connects
the remote hosts and networks to each other with the help of IPsec. In order to
maintain mutual authentication and secure connections between connecting
systems, it uses the Internet Key Exchange (IKE) which makes it more secure and
robust.
Debian is also a Linux kernel-based, popular and freely-available operating
system. It is a part of GNU project that provides the program components to
Debian. This operating system is made for the general purpose of the users.
Debian has a very vast set of libraries, it comes with over 60000 preinstall
packages, which makes it more user friendly and work efficiently. It is used by
a wide range of large and small organisations, as well as many thousands of
individuals.
